Initial Setup (to be scripted)

Plugin Activation

  1. Activate IgnitionDeck Framework plugin
  2. Register IgnitionDeck
  3. Select "Ignition Commerce"
  4. Activate IgnitionDeck Crowdfunding plugin
  5. Validate License Key: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
  6. Under General Settings: Uncheck “Ignition Deck Logo” and click “Update”
  7. Activate IgnitionDeck Commerce plugin
  8. Change IDCF Settings to “IgnitionDeck Commerce”
  9. Set General Settings
  10. License Key: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX 1. Company Name: Blocpower 2. Customer Service Email: info@blocpower.org 3. Check “Disable Wordpress Toolbar” 4. Check “Terms on Checkout”
  11. Activate Krown Shortcodes
  12. Activate oAuth Twitter Feed for Developers
  13. Activate Akismet plugin
  14. Activate SendGrid plugin
  15. Select API in SendGrid settings and enter "XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX" for API key

Site Settings

  1. Set “Site Title” to “Blocpower”
  2. Check “Anyone can register”
  3. Set “Permalink Settings” “Common Settings” select “Post Name” and save

Pages

  1. Remove “Sample Page”

  2. Create Checkout Page

  3. Create new page named “Checkout”

  4. Add [ project_purchase_form ] to the body of the page and “Publish”

  5. Go to IDCF Project Settings and 1. set the default purchase page to “Checkout” 2. Uncheck “Automatically insert project template”

  6. Create “Discover” page

  7. Add Discover to menu

  8. Create “Dashboard”

  9. Add “[memberdeck_dashboard]” to body of page

  10. Create “Home” page

  11. Go to Settings>Reading and set the “Home” page as the Front Page

Themes & Styling

  1. Activate the “Backer” Theme
  2. Remove the WP default “Hello World” post
  3. Create Header Navigation
  4. Rename Menu Name to “Header Navigation”
  5. Remove “Sample Page” menu item
  6. Remove “Dashboard” menu item
  7. Remove “Membership Registration” menu item
  8. Click “Create Menu”
  9. Check “Primary Navigation” under “Menu Settings”
  10. Create “Discover” menu
  11. Create “Blog” menu
  12. Create “About Us” menu 1. Add “Contact Us” & “Team” as children
  13. Click “Save Menu”
  14. Create Footer Menus
  15. Create Footer Menu’s 1, 2, & 3
  16. Got to Appearance>Customize 1. Add Footer Menu #1 as Footer’s first widget area 2. Add Footer Menu #2 as Footer’s second widget area 3. Add Footer Menu #3 as Footer’s third widget area 4. Insert last 3 blog posts widget 5. Add Copyright as Footer’s first bottom area 6. Add Sitemap as Footer’s second bottom area
  17. Go to Appearance>Customize and add logos and favicons
  18. Set logo size as 200px x 40px

Commerce

  1. Enable Stripe
  2. Check “Enable HTTPS”
  3. Enter keys
  4. Stripe Publishable Key: XXXXXXXXXXXXX
  5. Stripe Secret Key: XXXXXXXXXXXXX
  6. Stripe Publishable Key (Test): XXXXXXXXXXXXX
  7. Stripe Secret Key (Test): XXXXXXXXXXXXX

Creating a Project

  1. Create a Project
  2. Create a Product
  3. Enter “Product Name” that is the same as the “Project Name”
  4. Check “Allow Multiples”
  5. Click “Create”
  6. Associate the Project with the Product
